Digital Orchard IT Named a 2026 MSP to Watch

Edinburgh’s Digital Orchard IT partner recognised on a global list of 130 leading managed service providers.

Edinburgh, 14 July 2026. Digital Orchard IT has been named to the 2026 MSPs to Watch list, a designation from MSP Summit that recognises 130 managed service providers worldwide for operational excellence, growth and strategic vision.

For founder Simon McCullagh, the recognition reflects something he has been building steadily since 2010. What began as one engineer with a simple belief that businesses deserve honest advice rather than a sales pitch is now an Edinburgh team looking after multiple users across Scotland and the wider UK. Along the way Digital Orchard IT has become one of the few providers that can take a technology startup from its very first day right through to acquisition.

Being independently benchmarked matters in an industry where anyone can call themselves an IT company. To earn a place on the list, providers are measured on the quality and consistency of their business, including recurring revenue, efficiency and year-on-year growth. In other words, it is a signal to clients that the way Digital Orchard IT runs, and the results it delivers, stand up to outside scrutiny.

In 2025 Digital Orchard IT formalised its identity as a managed security provider, putting cyber security at the heart of everything it does, from endpoint protection and dark web monitoring to Cyber Essentials certification and virtual CISO support. As businesses adopt more software, cloud services and AI, the risks grow quietly in the background. Digital Orchard IT exists to think ahead of those risks so its clients do not have to.

“I never set out to build the biggest IT company. I set out to build one that people genuinely trust. Being named an MSP to Watch means the way we do things, honest advice, real security and looking after clients as if their business were our own, is being recognised on a global stage. That is a credit to every person on our team.”

Honorees will be celebrated at the MSP Summit, taking place 28 to 30 September at the Loews Royal Pacific in Orlando, Florida, where the 2026 list is being showcased across the managed services community.
